Coach Rolo is a product of the San Fernando Valley, born and bred. He fell in love with the game of basketball at the age of 7, and never looked back. Coach Rolo was blessed to have the opportunity to play professional basketball in Mexico for 2 years. During the off-season after his 2nd season in Mexico, he was offered a position at Shepherd Church's newly developed basketball club program as its head coach. He felt the call of God to take the next step in his faith journey and basketball career and accepted the offer. While at Shepherd coach Rolo coached club teams, ran skills clinics and camps, and personal skills training - including DI-III NCAA, overseas professionals and NBA athletes.

He has since built a reputation in the Los Angeles basketball community as not only a lights-out shooter, but an outstanding coach and trainer.

In 2017 he heard the call of God to take the next step once again. From that, G1 Elite Basketball was born. Although G1 is a program still in its infancy, it is well on its way to becoming one of LA's top club basketball programs. Coach Rolo's vision is to help create high character athlete's who can compete at the highest level of competition through the game of basketball.
